Area Sales Manager – Seasonal, Cards, Wrap
We are looking to recruit for an experienced Area Sales Manager to join an established UK brand who are a leader within the market. They are seeking a talented Area Sales Manager to join the team and manage a portfolio of accounts throughout the North West territory predominantly Manchester & Liverpool, driving sales and service to new heights.
As an Area Sales Manager, your responsibilities include the development and implementation of the strategic and operational sales plans. Foster and maintain strong customer relationships and identify new business opportunities to drive revenue and gain market share growth. The successful candidate will be expected to drive customer engagement, leading the sales team to achieve and exceed commercial targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company targets and objectives.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients and prospects.
Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to expand market reach.
Analyse sales data and market trends to develop actionable insights and strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to drive business growth.
Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.
Stay updated on industry developments and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
Requirements:
Proven track record of success in sales management, ideally within a seasonal product like cards, gift wrap etc
Must have a full driving license
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-driven mindset.
Ability to analyse data and market trends to make informed business decisions.
