Our client, the London Borough of Hackney, is seeking a committed professional to join their Child Protection Team in Children's Services. Role Overview:

As a Qualified Social Worker in the Child Protection Team, you will be responsible for managing complex cases, safeguarding children, and supporting families to ensure the best possible outcomes. You ll work collaboratively with a range of professionals, providing assessments, creating care plans, and delivering high-quality social work interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of child protection cases, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations.

  • Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and monitor the progress of children at risk.

  • Work in partnership with multi-agency teams, including health, education, and legal professionals.

  • Attend and present evidence at child protection conferences and court hearings.

  • Proven experience in children's services, particularly within child protection.

  • Excellent communication, assessment, and decision-making skills.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, maintaining a high standard of practice.
