We are searching for a highly skilled Assistant Manager to become an integral part of wonderful team. The ideal Assistant Manager will embody the qualities that define the pub, such as exceptional hospitality and a warm, inviting atmosphere.
Assistant Manager Ideal profile:
- Passionate about delivering top-tier customer service and offering high-quality products, including Championship-winning ales
- Adept at building sales, maximizing profitability, and effectively managing and developing a growing team
- Ability to exceed expectations in order to attract and retain customers
- Capable of overseeing the site in the General Manager's absence
Assistant Manager Responsibilities:
- Take charge of daily operations, adhering to company policies and procedures, including operating standards, licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and other legal requirements when the General Manager is absent
- Set an example by providing exceptional customer service, addressing challenging customer situations professionally, and maintaining a positive attitude among staff
- Work across all site areas (bar, floor, cellar, kitchen, and office) to maintain best practices, identify areas for improvement, and share knowledge with the team
- Carry out office administration tasks as directed by the General Manager, ensuring compliance with company standards
- Collaborate with the marketing team to stay updated on current marketing plans, promotions, and offers, and drive footfall through social media engagement
- Assist in achieving financial targets, managing stock processes, and training and developing staff to deliver outstanding customer service
