Senior Paid Media Analyst


Location: England (remote)

Reports to: Paid Media Manager

As the Senior Paid Media Analyst, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of advanced paid media strategies to drive traffic, conversions, and revenue for our clients. You will leverage your expertise in digital advertising platforms and data analysis to deliver actionable insights and optimize campaign performance.


What you’ll be doing


  • Develop and execute comprehensive paid media strategies across various platforms, including Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and more, to achieve client KPIs and business objectives.
  • Lead the planning, setup, and optimization of paid media campaigns, including keyword research, audience targeting, ad copywriting, and bid management.
  • Analyse campaign performance metrics and KPIs to identify trends, insights, and optimization opportunities, and provide strategic recommendations for improvement.
  • Implement advanced tracking and attribution methodologies to accurately measure the impact of paid media campaigns on client revenue and ROI.
  • Develop and implement A/B tests and experiments to optimize ad creative, targeting, landing pages, and other campaign elements for maximum effectiveness.
  • Utilize data visualization tools and analytics platforms to create comprehensive performance reports and dashboards for clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new features of advertising platforms to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and training to junior members of the paid media team, fostering their professional growth and development.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including account management, creative, and analytics, to ensure alignment and integration of paid media campaigns with overall marketing strategies.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on paid media, contributing to client presentations, proposals, and thought leadership initiatives.


What you’ll bring


  • Experience managing paid media campaigns, with a proven track record of driving results and achieving business objectives.
  • Expertise in digital advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Ads, and others, with advanced proficiency in campaign setup, optimization, and tracking.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, draw actionable insights, and communicate findings effectively to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Google Data Studio, Tableau, or Power BI preferred.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic thinker with a creative mindset and a passion for driving innovation and continuous improvement in paid media campaigns.
  • Strong leadership and mentorship abilities, with a collaborative and supportive approach to team management and development.
  • Google Ads certification and other relevant certifications (e.g., Facebook Blueprint) preferred.

  • Working autonomously with little need of oversight
  • Deliver robust reporting with detailed views on client strategy and limited amends needed
  • Independently create and coherently present work to clients and the agency
  • Understand and actively work toward increasing external agency sentiment through meeting engagement and positive change
  • Grow the agency profile through supporting the marketing team with specialist knowledge
  • Ownership of one key, or multiple smaller clients/accounts
  • Able to answer advanced questions related to your specialisation with limited support
  • Able to share knowledge and technical skills through training to junior members
  • Support senior team members in the onboarding of more junior team members
  • Shows consistency of the above for an extended period as agreed with line manager as part of a performance plan
  • Independent implementation of campaign build and optimisation without need of oversight or help
  • Be able to independently develop campaigns on multiple channels covering all elements (analytics, tagging, structure, reporting etc.)
  • Have a strong grasp of multiple paid media channels & platforms and be able to clearly talk to clients around the strategy and tactics required for each.
  • A good knowledge of media tactics to be able to prescribe the correct route for our clients
  • A track record of performance improvements
