3 month day rate contract, full time

Instinct is working with a prestigious long-standing client in the higher education space within their fully online learning division. They are looking for an experienced Learning Designer (HE background required) to work closely with a range of academics and assist in the design and creation of a suite of online learning programmes across a range of subject matter.


The position itself will involve balancing the creation of new programmes with updates and improvements to existing ones, and their ideal candidate will have an excellent understanding of pedagogical frameworks as well as accessibility inclusions. The programmes and respective activities are asynchronous and at the master's level, so previous experience working at this level is strongly preferred. Aside from this, the post holder would be responsible for ensuring all content is compliant with Moodle, and will need to take into account the inclusion of various learning applications included in these programmes.


The ideal candidate will have:

  • Extensive experience working as a Learning Designer in the Higher Education space
  • The ability to form and maintain strong relationships with a range of academics, communicating well with one another through a range of channels and formats
  • Significant experience in the creation of asynchronous learning programmes at the master's level
  • Experience working with Moodle and an understanding of its technical needs when creating content for that platform specifically
  • A strong understanding of accessibility and inclusion adaptions
