Mobile Plant Mechanic

Our client is looking for experienced Plant Fitter to join their expanding team on a permanent basis, there is extensive training provided within this position and due to the proximity of this site and where the training takes place, it’s a fantastic opportunity for those who want to progress their career.


The position would be a mix of servicing their internal & breakdowns of telehandlers, excavators, rollers on the heavy side.

They also have smaller plant equipment to keep the role varied and interesting and many more with additional training on brand new equipment.


With training you will also be able to visit a diverse range of different types of site within this position and more importantly be trained on a fantastic range of equipment and manufacturers whether it’s excavators, telehandlers, rollers or small plant and plenty more.


Your position will be to carry out maintenance and repairs across the internal fleet. Some of the activities that you will be involved in will include but may not be limited to:


• Interpret instructions from the job card/repair order and comply with repair • instructions • Attend training and keep abreast of the latest technical information

• Accurately report and record work done and tests carried out, including

• immediately reporting any further work required or equipment faults

• Maintain allocated work areas in a clean and tidy condition

• Provide information, maintain records and carry out all duties in an accurate,

• efficient and timely manner

• Enhance the image and reputation of the company whilst supporting its commercial interests
