Join our Digital Marketing Team as Trade Marketing Executive. This role is a hybrid working role with attendance required at our Slough office on a weekly basis.
The Trade Marketing Executive will report to the Marketing Director, you will be involved in the creation and implimentation of marketing campaigns across key retail partners. You will be responsible for weekly reporting of KPIs across all retail partners utilizing tools and softwares provided to help improve the visibility of TCL online.
You will be comfortable working within a team, but able to work independently, the candidate should be confident in dealing with data and technology.
Key Accountabilities:
Elaborate and execute the online operation plan for UK & Ireland aligned with the Digital Marketing Team from China and EU, KAMs, Marketing Director and the Country Manager.
Supporting sales out initiatives and optimisation at online retail together with UK & Ireland sales team with a focus on TV, Soundbar, Major Domestic Appliances.
Make detailed monthly plans and review progress for each marketing topic with Marketing Director.
Manage TCL brand in all customers online visibility.
Collaborate internally and externally to improve TCL online visibility.
Job Duties
- Execute the customer-specific online marketing plans, working in collaboration with colleagues on messaging and artworks for various activities. Ensure that all activities are on brand and in line with guidelines.
- Ensure that all agreed activities are delivered, captured, and maximized with each activity.
- Create retailer product asset packs to support product launches and promotions, ensuring consistency across all platforms.
- Manage the UK and Ireland websites to ensure product catalogs are up to date and content is regularly refreshed. Collaborate with a digital agency to optimize website performance and ensure best practices are followed.
- Work to increase visibility of TCL products across retailer websites, considering the consumer journey to the TCL product detail page (PDP) and identifying areas for improvement.
- Deploy the full content package across all retailer sites to increase conversion rates.
- Work with retailers to create engaging PDPs and shop-in-shop style environments.
- Create and maintain a master product content database to serve as the foundation for monitoring and improving retailer content compliance.
- Implement SEO improvements in collaboration with retailers on their web and marketplace platforms.
- Manage review platform partners, ensuring product catalogs are up to date, auditing reviews, and creating monthly reports to track performance and areas for improvement.
- Maintain and update the online and in-store ‘where to buy’ database, enhancing the customer journey to increase traffic both online and in-store.
- Work in partnership with the Ecommerce Director, KAMs, and wider ecommerce team to analyze retailers' online propositions and implement improvements.
- Proactively suggest improvements for the ecommerce business using market intelligence, data, and available tools.
- Produce monthly/quarterly review presentations to demonstrate progress within allocated work/retail accounts.
Experience Required:
Ideally, previous experience in a promotion-led marketing environment within a sales-focused business or agency. We will consider a University Graduate who has studied relevant topics and has placement experience.
Candidate’s knowledge of E-commerce and marketing techniques will be of benefit.
Marketing qualifications an advantage.
Specialized Knowledge and Skills:
Knowledge of the consumer electronics industry is an advantage but not essential. Training and support specific to industry will be provided.
Be fully adept with Microsoft Office programs and website functionality and maintenance ability.
