Role Overview:


The Senior Legal & Compliance Manager will be pivotal in ensuring The Goat Agency adheres to legal frameworks and upholds the highest standards of compliance. Reporting directly to the Global Head of Operations, this role demands a proactive individual with extensive experience in handling commercial contracts and general compliance matters, preferably within the digital marketing or media sectors.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate closely with internal and external legal partners to provide the wider team with advice on a broad range of matters, including client and talent contracts, intellectual property, data protection, employment law, and regulatory compliance.
  • Work with the wider team to ensure the highest standards of contract management.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
  • Identify potential legal risks and offer strategic advice to effectively mitigate these risks.
  • Conduct training sessions for staff whenever new industry guidance is issued.
  • Develop, implement, and optimise legal and compliance processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the department.


Qualifications:


  • A legal degree is not required; however, experience working as a paralegal or in contract management would be highly advantageous, ideally within the media or influencer space. This role would also suit a highly skilled operations professional or generalist seeking to expand their skillset.
