We are looking for a dynamic and exceptionally talented Motion Editor to drive the creative expression of Vivobarefoot’s regenerative mission. This role will support the Motion Lead in driving the visual tone and presentation of the brand, working with our Creative Leads and wider creative team to translate brand vision into compelling creative, producing innovative and genuinely disruptive, convention-challenging creative.


Reporting into the Creative Motion Lead and working in close collaboration with the Creative Production Lead, Creative design, Copy team, and Category Marketeers, the Motion Editor's role focuses on creative motion execution, delivering motion assets that support brand and business across all channels. As Motion Editor, the role will be instrumental to achieving our mission of reconnecting people and planet, affirming Vivobarefoot as a true challenger within the natural health and footwear industry, and a regenerative leader far beyond.


WHERE YOU’LL PLAY


The Motion Editor will be the key player in driving how we show up visually through motion and sound design and will be primarily responsible for:


  1. Supporting the evolution of the creative motion expression of Vivobarefoot’s regenerative mission, by producing innovative and genuinely disruptive, convention-challenging creative.
  2. Supporting Creative Motion Lead with conceptualisation, storyboarding, art direction, motion capture, animation design + output, including sound design, for campaigns and BAU across footwear, health, and activism.
  3. Supporting motion capture with approx. 80/20 editing/shooting split.
  4. Supporting with art directing film shoots for content and campaigns, including post-production.
  5. Work in partnership with the creative team to drive creative motion evolution of our digital and physical platforms from website and social, to physical retail
  6. Editing motion assets across BAU as well as other brand initiatives and projects.
  7. Ensuring workflow is managed and prioritised, so deadlines and expectations are met.
  8. Ensuring all motion creative and sound design is in line with central creative guidelines.
  9. Build and delivery of final and fully developed BAU and campaign videos & design from capture through to raw files/assets
  10. Research on latest media techniques and design ideas with special attention to motion design
  11. Creating animation from still and motion assets (video, photographic or vector)
  12. Researching, recording and encoding audio files
  13. Design and delivery of on-brand creative concepts and edits in response to briefs from internal teams
  14. Managing motion library.
  15. Ensure personal workflow is managed and prioritised, so deadlines and expectations are met.

ALL ABOUT YOU


  1. Motion related degree, and/or commercial design experience.
  2. At least 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role, either in-house or agency.
  3. Excellent creative portfolio.
  4. Proven track record in the management and execution of best-in-class creative.
  5. Inspire, lead and nurture creative team.
  6. Expert knowledge of Adobe CC
  7. Dynamic and daring approach to delivering messages through impactful visual mediums.
  8. Consistent conceptual thinking; be highly creative and imaginative, and curious about our & competitors’ propositions and creative delivery.
  9. Ability to manage multiple work streams, prioritise, and work to deadlines. Solid understanding of design principles and typography across motion, digital and print.
  10. Good understanding of UX and UI, with knowledge of XD/Sketch/Figma.
  11. Understand the visual languages that resonate with Vivos target markets, both geographic [particularly UK, USA & DE] and consumer segments.
  12. Highly self-motivated and well organised.
  13. An eye for detail and great design.
  14. Possess a challenger mindset.
  15. A thirst and curiosity for learning and betterment.
  16. An appreciation of alternative points of view, and receptivity to feedback.
  17. Bags of creativity (smart-by-crazy ideas are ideal).
  18. Excellent researching and referencing skills.
  19. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  20. Keen Interest in natural health and familiarising oneself with the concept of barefoot and a willingness to learn.
