Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to project teams and resolve any design or construction issues that may arise.
  • Review and analyse project designs to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Participate in meetings with clients and stakeholders to discuss project requirements and progress.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, technologies, and best practices in architectural design and construction.
  • Manage architectural design as agreed with the Design Manager.
  • Coordinate Principal Designer, understanding its role defined within the Construction Design & Management Regulation 2015.
  • Coordinate architectural design to deliver the Hospital design including construction drawings, details, legal plans, etc.
  • Undertaking value engineering assessment and ensure buildability (if applicable).
  • Coordinate submission of designs and securing technical approvals as per the Project Agreement.
  • Resolve all technical related queries including conducting site visits as required in a daily basis.


Required Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry as part of technical teams.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Architectural/Construction.
  • Principal Designer and associated Health and Safety training/qualifications.
  • Experience working within a technical role in a construction site (preferably Hospitals).
  • Good level of IT literacy with experience of Autocad, Revit (desirable as the project is design in Revit), Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
  • Excellent organization and time management with ability to multitask.
  • Commercially aware.
  • Ability to make decisions withing authority.
  • Able to lead work as a team member.
  • Experienced in analyzing problems and delivering solution.
  • Be able to design and interpret the designs and technical demands of others.
  • Strives for continuous improvement.
  • Able to work under pressure and accept constructive criticisms of work.
