Are you a French-speaking vet ready to put your skills to work in a whole new way?
Step into an exciting role that combines your clinical expertise with the opportunity to shape the future of pet care. We’re looking for a French-Speaking Veterinary Translation & Clinical Content Specialist to join our innovative team, helping make pet healthcare more accessible for French-speaking pet owners.
As part of our forward-thinking team, you will:
- Translate clincal veterinary content from English to French with precision, making sure it’s clear, accurate, and culturally relevant.
- Review translations to ensure clinical accuracy, appropriate terminology, and cultural relevance for a French-speaking audience.
- Adapt content to reflect the unique pet health concerns of France, from common conditions to preferred treatments.
- Work alongside developers to enhance a cutting-edge pet symptom checker; ensuring content is precise, user-friendly, and clinically sound.
- Maintain high-quality standards for all clinical content, ensuring it aligns with French veterinary practices.
This role is remote and flexible, with an initial commitment of 24+ hours per week, reducing to 4-6 hours weekly for ongoing maintenance.
What are we looking for?
- A qualified veterinarian with at least two years of experience in France.
- UK based with remote work flexibility.
- Native-level fluency in both French and English, with a sharp eye for detail.
- Familarity of pet health conditions, protocols and treatments common in France. A passion for clear, user-friendly communication that resonates with pet owners.
Knowledge/Experience desirable but not essential:
- Experience with digital health platforms or symptom checkers.
- Previous experience with medical or veterinary translations, with a strong understanding of clinical terminology.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex clinical concepts in layman's terms.
What’s in it for you? You’ll be joining a team that’s rewriting the rules of pet care. Forget outdated approaches—we’re all about energy, fresh ideas, and a boundless commitment to making life better for pets, their owners, and veterinary professionals alike.
Diversity matters: We’re building an inclusive and diverse team. We truly believe that surrounding ourselves with different opinions means that we’ll challenge our own assumptions instead of thinking we know the correct answer. We welcome applications from everyone and will foster an encouraging and caring workplace. If you aren’t sure if you qualify, send us your CV anyway. We’ll take the time to look over your application and give you feedback. Take the leap and make a difference.
