Are you a fundraising pro looking to use your skills to support a charity which helps people across the Fylde coast live their lives to the full and live well to the very end?

Trinity Hospice is a much-loved local charity with a brilliant reputation. They believe in focusing on the positives within in the palliative care industry, providing patients with relief from the symptoms, pain, and stress of a serious illness to improve quality of life for them and their loved ones. They do this through recognising that each person has individual needs and caters to these needs through offering their services in the hospice, the hospital, at home, or residential care home. They are looking for a Community & Corporate Fundraising Manager to support them to continue to achieve their mission of Enabling Compassionate Care on the Journey to End of Life.

About the Role

Working closely with the Head of Fundraising, the Corporate and Community Fundraising Manager will lead on the development and implementation of a focused Corporate and Community fundraising strategy. You’ll secure a pipeline of sustainable income whilst supporting a dedicated team of four fundraisers. A strong leader and communicator, you will discover creative and innovative ways to engage with new and existing corporate partners. You’ll ensure that current supporters feel appreciated through creating and implementing a tailored stewardship strategy, while attracting new donors through building the hospice’s profile across the community.

A large part of this role will involve leading and motivating the Corporate and Community Fundraising Team, line managing the Corporate Fundraiser, two Community Engagement Officers and Fundraising Officer. You will create and help your team deliver both financial and non-financial KPIs and will manage and report on all Corporate and Community income and associated expenditure. You will guide and motivate your team, identifying areas to improve and celebrating wins.

About You

This role would suit someone with several years’ experience working in a fundraising environment. You will be a strong leader, with experience managing teams and individuals and proving supportive and motivational line management. You’ll have a track record of meeting and surpassing financial targets, and of developing and delivering new ideas and activities from inception to delivery. You’re someone who is comfortable managing a demanding workload, with the ability to manage your time and prioritise tasks and projects, ensuring you meet tight deadlines.

You’ll be an adept communicator who can collaborate with ease. You’d be described as an approachable and confident leader, whose creativity and attention to detail contribute to your success. You’ll also have a genuine passion for providing everyone across Blackpool and the Fylde coast access to high-quality and consistent end-of-life care.

This role requires a full driving licence, with access to own car and appropriate business insurance.

If you are interested in this role, please get in touch with a copy of your CV to Ellen Drummond at Charity People in the first instance, who will be happy to provide lots more information including how to apply.
