Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain features, often interacting with Open Source communities & constantly pushing towards reliable, performant and secure software.
  • Be passionate about data centre management problems and strive to come up with innovative solutions + Lead the development of features from concept to market, often interacting with cross-functional areas such as product management, sales, and support.
  • Mentoring other software engineers


Qualifications

  • A degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD) in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong programming abilities in C and Python, with a preference for experience in developing enterprise-level software. (Knowledge of Rust and GoLang is a plus, but not mandatory).
  • Deep understanding of UNIX/Linux systems.
  • Knowledge of operating system internals and distributed system principles.
  • Familiarity with x86 architecture, as well as experience in virtualisation, storage, and network management.
