Reporting to our Head of Production, you'll oversee the full technical delivery of projects - from planning and quoting through to on-site execution. You'll ensure every project is delivered on time, on budget and to the highest standard, while guiding and mentoring others across the team. Based in our London office, you'll help bring extraordinary events to life in iconic venues across the UK and occasionally abroad.While the role is multi-disciplinary, we're particularly keen to strengthen our audio capabilities. You'll play a key role in shaping and elevating our audio offering - driving innovation, improving processes, and supporting delivery across the team.This role is perfect for either a seasoned event professional with project management experience, looking to make an impact in a full-time role, or for someone with a track record in technical project management looking to step into a senior roleYou'll Thrive Here If You...Have significant, demonstrable experience in project management within the live events industryHave a strong working knowledge of live event planning and deliveryHave a strong background in audio technology, including system design and implementationAre a confident project manager, capable of leading multiple events simultaneously and meeting deadlines under pressureExcel at creative problem-solving and can think on your feet to resolve technical challenges on siteCommunicate clearly and effectively with clients and internal teams alikeHave a strong awareness of health and safety practices and champion best working practices on siteAre passionate about innovation and continuous improvement in event technologyYou don't have to tick every box - we care just as much about curiosity, adaptability and a growth mindset as we do experience on paper.What You'll Be DoingProject PlanningWork with production and agency teams to provide technical support, planning and quotationsLiaise between Technical, Production, Operations and Warehouse teams to create streamlined project flowProduce equipment lists, technical plans and H&S documentation for eventsMonitor technical budgets to ensure financial targets are metRepresent EC at site meetings and act as a key contact for internal and external stakeholdersProject ExecutionProvide clear briefings to internal teams and freelance techniciansOversee technical delivery on site, ensuring seamless execution and client satisfactionAct as a senior point of escalation, solving problems and providing hands-on leadership during eventsLeadership & Line ManagementSupport and mentor direct reports, fostering a culture of learning and excellenceIdentify training needs and nurture talent within the technical teamCollaborate with the People Team to attract and retain the best technical production talentRisk Management & ComplianceEnsure all technical aspects adhere to H&S regulations and RAMS requirementsIdentify potential risks early and implement proactive contingency plansPromote safe working practices across all project sitesInnovation & Continuous ImprovementLead innovation in the delivery of audio, pushing boundaries with new technologiesShape our approach to audio equipment purchasing and deploymentStay ahead of technical and production trends to maintain EC's creative edgeContinuously refine internal technical processes and best practicesRepresenting ECAttend trade shows, client and venue visits, and industry eventsSupport marketing and promotional projects as requiredLive and demonstrate our company values in everything you doActively contribute to our 2030 Pledge to make a positive impact across our industryWhat It's Like at ECAt EC, we're a team of doers, dreamers, and down-to-earth collaborators.
