You will be responsible for planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale infrastructure initiatives, coordinating across multiple teams, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and aligned to business priorities.This role is critical to ensuring that Nscale's global expansion and AI datacenter delivery remain on track with strategic objectives.The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with data center deployments, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality infrastructure projects.What You'll be DoingExecute and manage individual GPU data center deployment projects from initiation to completionCreate detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations for assigned projectsCoordinate the activities of engineering teams, contractors, and vendors during deploymentsTrack project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as neededManage the physical installation of racks, power distribution units, servers, network equipment, and GPU clustersCoordinate structured cabling installations and verify proper implementationEnsure all equipment is installed according to Nscale standards and vendor specificationsManage project documentation, including installation guides, as-built records, and handover documentationCoordinate site access, delivery logistics, and on-site resourcesConduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to the Program ManagerMonitor project budgets and track expenses against forecastsImplement standardized deployment processes and contribute to process improvementsVerify that installations meet power, cooling, and weight requirements of the data center facilitiesConduct quality assurance checks throughout the deployment processFacilitate the handover of completed deployments to operations teamsKey ObjectivesSuccessfully deliver assigned GPU infrastructure deployment projects on time and within budgetImplement standardized deployment processes to ensure consistency and qualityReduce deployment cycle times and improve efficiencyEnsure all installed infrastructure meets technical specifications and performance requirementsMaintain accurate and complete project documentationBuild strong working relationships with vendors, contractors, and internal teamsIdentify and implement process improvements based on project experiencesSupport the overall program goals established by the Program ManageKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)Project delivery metrics:On-time completion rate of assigned projectsAdherence to project budgetsSpeed of deployment (racks/GPUs deployed per week)Quality metrics:First-time-right installation rateNumber of post-installation issues identifiedAdherence to installation standards and proceduresProcess metrics:Documentation quality and completenessTime from equipment delivery to operational statusEfficiency of resource utilizationStakeholder satisfaction:Internal team feedbackVendor/contractor relationship managementEffective communication and reportingAbout You (Skills / Qualifications Experience)3+ years of experience in data center operations, IT infrastructure deployment, or related fields2+ years of project management experienceDemonstrated experience with data center hardware installations and structured cablingKnowledge of power distribution, cooling systems, and rack configurations in data centersUnderstanding of server, network, and GPU hardware components and configurationsExperience coordinating the activities of technical teams and contractorsFamiliarity with data center infrastructure management toolsStrong documentation and technical writing skillsExcellent organizational and time management abilitiesStrong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing requirementsDetail-oriented with a focus on quality and precisionProficiency with project management and collaboration toolsNice to Have:Experience specifically with GPU clusters or high-density computing environmentsKnowledge of Infiniband and high-performance network fabricsFamiliarity with Netbox or similar CMDB toolsExperience creating and reviewing Bills of Materials (BOMs)Understanding of network configurations for AI workloadsSeniority LevelMid-Senior levelAt Nscale, we are committed to fostering an inclusive, diverse, and equitable workplace.
