Role Purpose: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Lead to drive a critical Expenses Transformation initiative across our UK operations. This role is pivotal in leading the delivery of significant process and system changes, ensuring efficient and effective expense management. The successful candidate will combine deep expertise in expense processes with strong project management and PMO capabilities to deliver a seamless and impactful transformation. Key Responsibilities: • Lead the end-to-end delivery of the UK Expenses Transformation project, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budget, and scope. • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including detailed work breakdown structures, resource allocation, and risk management strategies. • Take hands-on responsibility for delivery of selected project deliverables, utilising personal subject matter expertise in liaison with UK Head of Expenses and wider business stakeholders. • Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications, providing regular updates to senior stakeholders and project teams. • Facilitate and lead Steering Committee ( SteerCo ) meetings, presenting project progress, challenges, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership. • Drive effective change management activities, ensuring smooth adoption of new processes and systems by end-users. • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Finance, IT, HR, and external vendors, to ensure integrated project delivery. • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues proactively, escalating where necessary and developing contingency plans. • Ensure all project documentation is accurately maintained and accessible. Required Skills & Experience: • Extensive experience in expenses management and processing, with a deep understanding of the end-to-end expense lifecycle. • Proven willingness and knowledge to dive into details where necessary and take personal responsibility for delivery of project outputs as SME. • Demonstrable experience as a Transformation Delivery Lead, with a strong track record of successfully leading and delivering complex projects within a corporate environment. • Expertise in Project Management Office (PMO) functions, including planning, tracking, reporting, and governance. • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively engage, influence, and communicate with senior leadership, including running SteerCo meetings and presenting complex information clearly and concisely. • Experience working in a fast-paced, matrix-style professional services or similar corporate environment is highly desirable. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail. • Knowledge and practical experience with SAP Concur expense management system. Desirable Skills & Experience: • Experience in change management methodologies and their practical application within transformation projects. • Knowledge or experience of Service Now or similar demand management platforms and assets IR35 As a means of managing tax, commercial and reputational risks, Deloitte prohibits the use of Associates through Personal Service Companies ('PSCs'). All Associates must contract under PAYE arrangements through a Deloitte approved 'Employment Company' (aka 'umbrella company.')
