Job Description SummaryJob DescriptionRole Purpose Ensure accurate and efficient material throughput from pack to ship in support of customer on-time delivery and business needs. This role emphasizes receiving and handling material, storage, packing, and transport to aerospace standards.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport Packing/Dispatch team in daily shipping processesReceive, verify, process, and receipt goods into the dispatch areaPack goods to prescribed specificationsRecord supplier Certificates of Conformance (C of C's) and pack slipsDrive company vehicle onsite to collect goods from predetermined pointsRecognize and action non-conformances, escalating as requiredCommunicate queries to the appropriate person in a timely mannerUpdate business systems with accurate packing dataComply with all Dispatch ProceduresPerform system and paperwork checks to ensure accuracy and completenessExecute physical movement of stock; track and control inventoryHousekeeping: Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse to ensure safety and efficiencyPacking material stock control and orderingCover deliveries and scanning to ensure accurate and timely processing of incoming goodsSupport Return Material Authorization (RMA) processes, including handling and processing returned goodsFlexibility to support other areas within the CH20 building, including Stores, Receiving, or Packing, as needed due to workload, holidays, or illnessExperience and Knowledge RequiredProactive self-starter with a can-do attitude; good communicatorValid driving license; FLT license desirableWorking knowledge of material handling requirements, including ESD, HazMat, and MSDDemonstrated understanding of aerospace material handling and controlsStrong time management and prioritization skillsWorking knowledge of ERP and MRP systemsWarehousing background with customer-focused approach; comfortable working with people at all levelsHigh attention to detail and a practical, problem-solving approachHigh levels of energy, drive, and commitmentIT literate; confident user of PC packages and planning systemsFlexible Working:GE Aerospace supports and encourages flexible working arrangements, where possible, and recognises the benefits to employees of having a positive work-life balance.Total Reward At GE Aerospace we understand the importance of Total Reward.
