**Title: Warehouse Operative / Packer**
Our client, a leading independent supplier of recreational water treatment chemicals for pools and spas in the UK and requires warehouse packing operatives to join their growing team.
**Hours and Rates of pay**
- Monday-Friday 08:00 - 16:00
- £11.44 per hour
- Due to the location of the role, your own transport would be required
**The Role**:
**Please be advised that a fit to work respiratory test is required to be done before starting.**
- The purpose of the role is to work efficiently and accurately at the required pace
- Good literacy skills required
- To be responsible for packing of dangerous chemicals and other product as well as palletising them ready for delivery.
- Adhere to the operation and quality procedures in place
- Good housekeeping and hygiene standards in the packing and surrounding area on a daily basis.
- Physical work with heavy lifting may be required
- Check accuracy of orders against packing slips
- Careful handling of dangerous chemicals
- At all times keeping the warehouse, and yard clean and tidy and adhering to all health and safety policies.
- Pack orders appropriately ready for dispatch
- Affix labels to packaging to ensure they are legible
