The VacancyAt Sheffield Forgemasters we have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our team.This role is based at our 64-acre site, sitting in the heart of Sheffield. Our Customer Programmes department provides effective account management for our clients; oversees the implementation of commercial contracts; plans and project manages all aspects of the product and solution delivery to our customers, ensuring a high-level of satisfaction, within budget and on time.As a Project Manager at Sheffield Forgemasters, you will lead strategically and tactically to provide project management services for long to medium term customer defence projects, in the engineering and manufacturing sector. This is a customer facing role delivering excellent customer satisfaction, ensuring company governance standards are being adhered too.What you'll be doing Managing, supporting and delivering projects on time and meeting quality specifications within the approved budgets. Driving all aspects of project planning, governance, and execution using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies. Managing budgets, forecasts, KPIs, and performance to meet key financial and delivery targets. Leading risk and issue management to maintain control of project scope, cost, and quality. Building strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. Promoting best practices and continuous improvement across teams. Supporting supplier reviews, project audits, and risk assessments including travel to supplier sites as required. Travel requirements can vary and can be up to 3 days per week. About You Experience working in APM, PRINCE2, or similar project management frameworks. Strong commercial awareness and supply chain management experience. Proven experience leading large-scale, high value projects. Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship building skills. Logical and methodical with strong attention to detail and a proactive, results oriented mindset. The ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.As well as having the skills, knowledge and experience for this role, we are also looking for someone who embodies our core values: Customer Focus; Working Together; Trust & Respect; Quality & Innovation and Safety & Wellbeing.The Working PatternThis is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday.
