Job Description Document Controller Job Location City: London Country/Region: United Kingdom Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract Full/Part Time: Full Time Remote/Onsite: On-site/Office based Travel Requirements: Occasional travel Requisition ID: 2251 Information at a Glance Due to us winning new School Build projects, Bouygues UK are looking for an experienced Document Controller for a 1-year fixed term contract. We would also consider an experienced admin person who could show drive and ability to learn the role. This would be a site-based role for 3 days a week, initially based in Harrow and then to another project in the London and South east area.Job Purpose and Scope:You will be responsible in assisting the team by managing all administrative and technical documents, including the control of documentation and administrative processes in accordance with Project Specific and Company Procedures. Skills required:Good IT skills (MS Office), Excel with basic formulas and conditional formattingGood attention to detailCapacity to work effectively within a team environmentOrganisational skills (prioritising tasks, respecting deadlines, methodical work)Flexibility with changes to tasks and dutiesProactive and able to follow up when information is missing.Multi-taskingViewpoint for Projects not essential as training will be providedA basic understanding of construction drawings and approvals process would be advantageousThe role offers involvement in the following areas:Check and process drawings and other technical information on the EDMSProvide support to the Document Control team on projects runningPrepare documents for presentation (progress reports, PowerPoint, etc.)Setting up internal meetings, preparing agendas and taking minutesUpload information's onto EDMS conforming to all Bouygues ProtocolsAssist with the filing and archiving of project correspondence and handover documentationProblem solvingWhy Bouygues UKDay in day out our teams deliver some of the most technically innovative and challenging projects across the UK and the world.
