Electrical Engineer - Minor New Works Team Location: RAF MildenhallCompany: MitieHours: Full-time, 37.5 hrs/week (Mon-Fri) About the Role Mitie is looking for a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our Minor New Works team at RAF Mildenhall. You'll carry out electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations across a diverse client base-helping to keep facilities safe, secure, and running smoothly. You'll be part of a collaborative team that includes plumbers, carpenters, painters, cleaners, and administrators. Key Responsibilities As an Electrician, you will be responsible for maintaining and operating electrical systems safely and efficiently. Your duties will include performing inspections, planned maintenance, and repairs, as well as recording findings and any remedial actions taken. You'll stay up to date with safety regulations, carry out installations, and provide excellent customer service. You'll also support team tasks when required, submit job reports promptly, collect authorised parts and materials, and ensure all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard. #EngElec What We're Looking For Essential: Level 2/3 City & Guilds 2330 or NVQ Level 3 Experience in electrical installation & maintenance Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills Able to work independently and record tasks accurately Full UK driving licence Eligible for MOD & DBS clearance (UK residency: 3+ years) #EngElec Desirable: City & Guilds 2391 - Inspection & Testing 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671) Our market-leading offering provides you with benefits that suit your lifestyle.
