This is a career-defining opportunity to deliver engineering excellence in a safety-critical environment, where your work directly supports national defence, clean energy and the future of sustainable infrastructure.Day-to-day, you'llLeading the delivery of robust EC&I designs that meet nuclear safety, reliability and regulatory standardsCollaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support strategic nuclear programmesInterfacing with internal stakeholders such as project managers and commissioning engineers, and external partners including regulators and clientsEnsuring all engineering outputs meet industry standards and site licence conditionsDriving continuous improvement and innovation across EC&I systems and processesThis is a full-time role, working 37 hours per week. Hybrid working patterns are available, with an expectation of three days on site. The role is based at one of our key locations - Moor Row (Cumbria), Warrington (Cheshire), Leicester (Leicestershire) or Bristol. Travel to customer sites may be required depending on project needs.Essential experience of the Senior Electrical, Control and Instrumentation Engineer:Design and deliver EC&I systems in regulated environmentsApply nuclear safety standards such as IEC 61508 and BS EN 61511Work within cross-functional teams on complex engineering projectsEngage with regulators, clients and suppliers to resolve technical challengesProduce and review technical documentation including specifications and safety case contributionsQualifications for the Senior Electrical, Control and Instrumentation Engineer:Degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, Instrumentation or a related disciplineChartered Engineer status or working towards it (preferred)Security ClearanceThe successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
