Position Title: Senior Structural Engineer - London Location: London, UK Working Model: Hybrid (office-based with flexible remote days) We are an established engineering consultancy delivering complex and innovative structural solutions across commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects in London and the wider UK. Our senior technical team is recognised for excellence, collaboration, and delivering safe, cost-effective, and sustainable designs. We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to take a leading role in delivering high-profile and technically challenging projects. The role offers responsibility for design leadership, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring design excellence from concept through to construction, while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams. Key responsibilities include leading structural design for various projects, reviewing and approving calculations and specifications, providing technical guidance to junior staff, conducting site visits, ensuring compliance with UK design codes, supporting project delivery, and engaging with clients and stakeholders. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, 8-15 years of experience in structural design, Chartered Engineer status or working toward it, and proficiency in structural analysis software. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential, along with leadership experience. Preferred qualifications include experience with high-rise and large-scale infrastructure projects and familiarity with BIM workflows.
