Senior Commercial ManagerLocation: Remote (occasional travel to Manchester or London)Contract: 3–6 months (potential extension)Day Rate: £800–£900 via UmbrellaAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Manager to join our team on an interim basis. You will play a key role as Commercial Lead on major public sector bids, ranging from £25M to £500M. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-value, complex deals within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead commercial activities on large-scale public sector bids.Review and negotiate client contracts and supplier agreements.Ensure governance compliance and prepare documentation for divisional and group-level approvals.Conduct risk analysis and pricing assessments for bids.Represent the commercial function in executive-level meetings.Skills & ExperienceProven experience in commercial management within large-scale bids or complex projects.Strong negotiation and contract management skills.Ability to manage governance processes and engage confidently with senior stakeholders.Financial acumen and understanding of risk management.Background in legal or finance is advantageous but not essential.ClearanceSC clearance desirable but not mandatory.
