Junior Account Manager – Medical Communications Oxfordshire - HybridAn award-winning medical communications agency is looking for a proactive, organised and ambitious Junior Account Manager to join their growing client services team. From publications and educational materials to scientific meetings and digital initiatives, you'll help drive high-quality work that supports global medical teams, healthcare professionals and patients.You'll gain exposure to a wide variety of therapy areas, work closely with cross-functional scientific and creative teams, and contribute to both day-to-day project delivery and long-term client relationships. What You'll Be DoingAs a Junior Account Manager, you will:Deliver Outstanding ProjectsManage logistics and project delivery across a variety of medical communication activities (publications, slide decks, infographics, meetings, symposia and more)Create and maintain project timelines, trackers and status reportsLead internal status meetings and take part in client calls with confidenceOrganise venues, AV, travel, faculty contracts and onsite preparednessProactively communicate with internal teams, clients and external expertsStart leading smaller projects independentlyDrive Quality, Efficiency & Financial AwarenessMonitor project budgets and highlight any variancesSupport forecasting, invoicing and financial reportingIdentify risks and propose practical solutions earlyEnsure all work complies with SOPs, pharma codes (e.g., ABPI), style guides and client expectationsCollaborate, Support & GrowBuild strong relationships across your team and the wider agencyMentor new Account Executives and graduatesSupport new business activities when requiredBecome a dependable "go-to" person through strong organisation, initiative and teamworkDevelop Your Skills & CareerExpand your scientific understanding of client products and therapy areasStay curious—seek feedback, learn, and grow with support from your managerSpot opportunities for account growth and share them with senior leads What We're Looking ForYou will thrive in this role if you are:Already working as an Account Executive in a medical communications agencyA natural organiser with excellent time management and attention to detailA strong communicator (written and verbal), confident with clients and internal teamsProactive, solutions-focused and comfortable juggling multiple tasksCalm under pressure and adaptable when priorities shiftCompetent in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams)Education:Bachelor's degree preferred (life sciences advantageous but not essential) What's In It For YouJoin a respected, supportive and fast-growing med comms agencyWork on exciting, high-impact scientific and medical projectsDevelop quickly with tailored training, mentoring and progression pathwaysCollaborate with passionate, talented colleagues across scientific, creative and digital teamsHybrid or remote working options to suit your lifestyleReady to grow your med comms career?If you're excited to take on more responsibility, work on diverse scientific projects and become a trusted partner to global clients, we'd love to hear from you, apply with your CV today.
