Run what runs the world.This Position reports to:Service ManagerRepresents ABB as Home Based, Field Service Engineer in the North East of England on customer papermanufacturing facilities. As part of the Northern Service Team provide 24/7 support on site for ABB QCS and DCSequipment. After initial ABB product training, you will be responsible to deliver the Service Agreement toscope, activities include Preventative and Corrective maintenance on ABB QCS/DCS equipment,configuration, calibration, modification, cleaning, adjustment. Participate in a 1 week in 3 on Call Rota. Here, your work creates impact you can see and feel, every day.Your Role And ResponsibilitiesProvide High level field and in house technical support, including out of hours support. Fulfil Service Agreement obligations, demonstrated by the use of ABB ServicePro and otherreporting tools. Provide application support and software troubleshooting to customers, on site and by remotedial in.Advises clients as to maintenance procedures, evolution, site planning, operational methods,process measurement and control. Flexibility to travel to sites anywhere in the UK for above activities in addition to primary areas ofresponsibility. Prepare and write technical reports for internal and external use. Promote sales of maintenance services and equipment, including spare parts, and advise Salesdepartment of possible sales leads. Assists Sales and Account management with preparation of quotations.
