Job DescriptionCivil/ Commercial Litigation SolicitorLocation: Bury, Greater ManchesterSalary: Up to £55,000 (DOE)Contract Type: Full-time, PermanentThe Opportunity:An excellent opportunity has arisen for a driven and experienced Litigation Solicitor to join a well-established firm based in Bury. The successful candidate will handle a varied caseload covering debt recovery, civil litigation, HDR (housing disrepair), and general litigation matters.This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and growing team, offering genuine career progression and a strong platform to develop your litigation expertise further.Key Responsibilities:Manage a broad caseload of civil and commercial litigation matters.Handle debt recovery claims from pre-action through to enforcement.Deal with housing disrepair (HDR) matters, including both claimant and defendant work.Advise and represent clients in a range of general litigation disputes.Draft legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence.Conduct negotiations, mediations, and settlement discussions.Attend court hearings where required.Provide clear, pragmatic legal advice to clients and maintain excellent client relationships.About You:Qualified Solicitor (1–5 years’ PQE preferred, though all levels will be considered).Solid background in litigation, with experience across debt recovery, HDR, and general civil disputes.Strong advocacy and negotiation skills.Ability to manage a varied caseload with minimal supervision.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.A proactive and client-focused approach.What’s on Offer:Competitive salary up to £50,000 (dependent on experience).Friendly, collaborative working environment.Clear opportunities for progression and professional development.Hybrid working options and flexibility.How to Apply:If you’re an ambitious Litigation Solicitor looking to take the next step in your career, we’d love to hear from you.
