Civil and Commercial Litigation Solicitor Location: Bury, Greater Manchester Salary: Up to £55,000 (DOE) Contract: Full‑time, Permanent The opportunity: An excellent opportunity for an experienced litigation solicitor to join a well‑established firm in Bury. You will handle a varied caseload covering debt recovery, civil litigation, HDR (housing disrepair) and general litigation matters. This role offers genuine career progression and a strong platform to develop your litigation expertise. Key Responsibilities Manage a broad caseload of civil and commercial litigation matters. Handle debt recovery claims from pre‑action through to enforcement. Deal with housing disrepair (HDR) matters, including both claimant and defendant work. Advise and represent clients in a range of general litigation disputes. Draft legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence. Conduct negotiations, mediations, and settlement discussions. Attend court hearings where required. Provide clear, pragmatic legal advice to clients and maintain excellent client relationships. About You Qualified solicitor (1–5 years PQE preferred; all levels considered). Solid background in litigation, with experience across debt recovery, HDR, and general civil disputes. Strong advocacy and negotiation skills. Ability to manage a varied caseload with minimal supervision. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A proactive, client‑focused approach.
