This organisation is renowned for its supportive culture, staff wellbeing, and excellent learner outcomes. They deliver a wide range of government-funded programmes, including Traineeships and Employability qualifications, and are now expanding their team. What’s on OfferSalary up to £30,000 per annum26 days holiday + your birthday + Christmas shutdown + bank holidaysAll travel expenses reimbursed from homeGroup performance bonus schemePrivate medical schemeRetail discounts and wellbeing perksAbout the Role As an Employability Skills Trainer, you will deliver engaging, classroom-based training across a variety of Level 1 subjects, including:Employability SkillsCustomer ServiceMental Health AwarenessBusiness AdministrationYou will support and motivate learners – many of whom are unemployed or from ESOL backgrounds – guiding them towards positive progression. Delivery will take place across multiple centres in Hertfordshire and surrounding areas (including Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire) and may include remote sessions via Teams and online platforms. Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and deliver engaging, high-quality training sessions in classroom and online settingsProvide ongoing mentoring, coaching, and support to learnersSet clear targets and provide regular feedback to monitor learner progressSupport learners academically and pastorally, raising aspirations and promoting positive outcomesTrack and maintain accurate records, including enrolment, attendance, and learner needsContinuously evaluate and improve your own delivery and learner outcomesEnsure compliance with organisational policies and relevant funding requirementsEssential Skills & ExperienceRecognised Assessor Award (e.g., TAQA or CAVA)Recognised teaching qualification (highly desirable)Experience delivering employability or vocational trainingStrong classroom management and communication skillsUnderstanding of Ofsted and the Education Inspection FrameworkExperience supporting learners from diverse backgrounds (e.g., NEET, ESOL, unemployed)Good IT skills, including confidence with digital learning platformsFull driving licence and access to own transportThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation that invests in its staff and makes a real difference to learners’ lives.
