Electrical Engineering Tutor/Skills Coach
Location: Stevenage
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a reputable Training Provider that has an immediate position for a Trainer/Assessor in Electrical Engineering.
As an experienced Tutor/Skills Coach in Electrical Engineering, you will receive an excellent salary of up to £35000, 27 days holidays+bank holidays plus an excellent pension scheme.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Trainer/Skills Coach
- Electrical
- To coach, mentor, and guide groups of learners who are engaged in the Electrical apprenticeship programs
- Actively support, mentor, and motivate learners across the entire learner journey to help them with the timely completion of their learning aims and qualification.
- Deliver inspiring training and coaching sessions to groups and individual learners.
- To provide information, advice, guidance, and support for the Learners
- Teaching of Functional Skills in Maths and English
- Set individual targets for each learner based on the capability to ensure KPIs are met
- Identify and assess learners' needs and put in place robust learning plans, with realistic and challenging goals, that enable learners to understand their personal journey and realise their potential.
- Observe, mark, and review work produced by learners to ensure it is of the appropriate standard to reflect the learner's qualification and meet the needs of the qualification.
- Provide insightful, constructive, and informative feedback to help the learner maximize their potential.
- Ensuring all IT systems up to date and meet funding compliance.
- Coaching and guiding the learners to the End Point Assessment.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience required for the Trainer/Assessor in Electrical Engineering
- Hold a recognised Assessor Qualification such as A1, TAQA, or CAVA or be prepared to work towards this award
- Teaching Qualification is highly desirable to include PTTLS, Award in Education, PGCE
- Vocational experience working within the Electrical Sector and C&G 2357
- Experience in teaching, learning and assessment with learners with Electrical Apprenticeships
- Own transport and Full UK Driving license
