Job DescriptionJob Title: Legionella PlumberLocation: Leeds, West YorkshireSalary/Benefits: £28k - £40k + Training & BenefitsDue to recently winning new contracts, our client is recruiting for a qualified Legionella Plumber to cover a range of commercial and local authority client sites. Ideally, candidates will have good access to major roads (such as M1 and M62) for easier travel. It is essential that candidates hold NVQ Plumbing qualifications and the G3 Unvented ticket. We can also consider candidates based in the Midlands region for this role. Locations of work include: Leeds, Morley, Rothwell, Garforth, Castleford, Normanton, Pontefract, Selby, Wetherby, Harrogate, Horsforth, Pudsey, Bradford, Halifax, Brighouse, Huddersfield, Dewsbury, Ossett, Wakefield, Horbury, Barnsley, Mexborough, Doncaster, Sheffield, Keighley, Rotherham, Thorne, Goole, Selby, Snaith, Worksop, Retford, Rochdale, Oldham, Bury, Stockport.Experience / Qualifications:- Strong track record working as a Legionella Plumber, within a well-established outfit- Will hold the G3 Unvented Ticket and NVQ Plumbing Levels (1, 2 and / or 3)- Good understanding of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines- Comfortable discussing technical matters directly with clients- Ideally will hold the CSCS card- Flexible to travel in line with company requirements- Good literacy, numeracy and IT skillsThe Role:- Identifying system performance issues from legionella risk assessment reports and carrying out appropriate repairs- TMV servicing and replacements- Deadleg removals- Cleans on cold water storage tanks, in addition to refurbishments and replacements- New installations of TMVs and Cold water storage tanks- Installations of hot water cylinders- Pipework modifications and installations- Cleans and disinfections on water systems- Ad-hoc water sampling and temperature monitoring- Producing regular technical reportsAlternative job titles: Plumber, Legionella Remedial Engineer, Remedial Plumber, Legionella Remedial Plumber, Water Hygiene Plumber, Environmental Service Technician.Future Select are recruiting in the Water Treatment/Hygiene industry; we work with the best clients & candidates and supply the majority of permanent jobs in the market.We would be interested in speaking to candidates with experience in any disciplines from Risk Assessors, Service Engineers, Account Managers and Business Development/Operational Managers through to Director level.
