They are now looking to recruit a competent and knowledgeable Water Hygiene Plumber based in and around the Leeds area. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience carrying out Plumbing works on a mixed portfolio of sites as well as carrying out water hygiene duties in line with company needs such as temperature monitoring and water sampling. Applications will be considered from: Mansfield, Chesterfield, Worksop, Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley, Doncaster, Barnsley, Huddersfield, Pontefract, Castlefield, Bradford, Halifax Experience & Qualifications Will have extensive experience working within the Water Hygiene industry working for an established company. Will hold the City and Guilds (NVQ L2 / L3) in plumbing. Will be well versed in relevant Health and Safety / ACOP L8 guidelines. Competent in using PDA / Tablet systems. Will have excellent communication skills. The Role Cold water storage tank refurbishments with associated pipework. TMV installations and servicing. Installing and rerouting copper and plastic pipework ranging in size/ diameter. Removing dead legs and redundant pipework to control the risk of Legionella. Servicing and installation of hot water cylinders (Desirable). Signing off and completing checks relating to plumbing works. Finding faults, providing clients with diagnosis, and resolving any issues effectively. Carrying out L8 compliance work to include water sampling and temperature monitoring in line with company needs. Making sure all work is being carried out in line with Health and Safety Regulations. Liaising with clients and maintaining good working relationships.
