Job DescriptionClaims Adjuster - 12 month contractWorking in this market leading Marine and Aviation claims offering, in order to contribute to the attraction and retention of profitable business.This role includes responsibility for:Delivery, through personal ownership and via the team, of a first-class service to all customersManagement of claims arising from the designated portfolio (to include those beyond personal authority) – this may be achieved by personal ownership or by working with a more experienced colleagueOwnership of nominated client relationships to ensure delivery of Claims services to support and develop business objectivesLiaison with Underwriters to assist in ensuring that they are fully briefed on claims issues at an individual levelEnsuring fair customer outcomes & commerciality when decision making in line with the Company valuesTo have a clear understanding of the company's risk appetites in terms of delegated authority, conduct and financial crimeChampion the company values and work in accordance with the organisational behavioursTo be aware of and comply with the relevant rules and regulations in relation to financial crime & conductYou will have experience handling Marine, Aviation and ideally Fine Art and Specie claims in the Lloyd’s market and will have a good working knowledge of ECF. You must have experience with First and Third party claims together with strong knowledge of the London market.
