Job DescriptionSenior Key Accounts Manager (Materials Handling Equipment)£90,000 Base SalaryBenefits: 20% Bonus, 26 Days Holiday plus Bank Holidays, Pension, Company CarSenior Key Accounts Manager position for one of the world’s leading manufacturer of forklift trucks, warehouse and materials equipment.The role is a key support to the UK Sales Director in delivering the growth strategy to achieve the company goals.To apply for the role you need to have experience in managing key accounts in the materials handling/forklift sector, other very closely aligned industries such as plant will also be considered.The focus on the role is to achieve agreed levels of profitability whilst retaining the company’s valuable portfolio though successful account management.  You will be home based with travel to key accounts across the UK and Europe when needed alongside travel to the head office in Devon.The company are very valued in the industry for their product quality and customer service.  The Senior Key Accounts Manager Role:·         Achieve agreed annual national account targets·         Grow New, Used, Advanced Application and STR revenue opportunities·         Ensure consistent customer focus is achieved·         Provide leadership and support for the National Account team, coaching, mentoring, and monitoring·         Ensure the company retains its valuable customer portfolio through active account management.·         Quickly and effectively meet customer needs, handle complaints and issues·         Negotiate with customers on sales agreements and contracts for the supply of the company’s productsThe Person Required for the Senior Key Accounts Manager Role:·         Experience in managing key accounts in the materials handling/forklift sector·         Previous success in achieving sales targets, negotiation and problem solving in a Key Account environment
