Job title: Production Technician / Pharmacy TechnicianSalary: Band 4Location: 22 Devonshire Place, W1G 6BWJob Type: Permanent Full timeHours: 37.5 Hours onsite workingThe role:We are currently looking to recruit a Production Technician / Pharmacy Technician to join our Aseptic Services Unit (ASU). This is a pivotal role supporting the delivery of safe, efficient and high-quality aseptic services in line with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). You will be actively involved in day-to-day aseptic compounding, quality assurance activities, environmental monitoring, stock management, and supervision of junior staff. The London Clinic is known for its supportive, collaborative culture where every contribution is valued, guided by our core values: We go further, We work as one, We personalise care.Key Duties:Supervise aseptic compounding activities and junior staff in the cleanroom environmentPrepare and compound cytotoxic, hazardous and monoclonal products in line with GMP and SOPsPerform in-process volume checks and final release of aseptically prepared products (as appropriate)Maintain aseptic equipment, isolators, and environmental monitoring processesAssist in quality improvement projects and report out-of-specification resultsManage top-up services, tray assembly and accurate documentationParticipate in on-call, weekend and bank holiday rotas for out-of-hours productionSupport training and supervision of new and junior staffSkills and Experience:GPhC registration as a Pharmacy Technician (or equivalent accreditation)Previous experience in an aseptic services unit or sterile compounding environmentStrong understanding of GMP and SOPs in a healthcare or manufacturing settingExcellent attention to detail and commitment to patient safetyAble to manage workload and prioritise tasks in a dynamic teamExperience in supervising junior staff and supporting training is desirableProficient in stock management systems and documentation processesWillingness to work flexibly including weekends and bank holidays as requiredBenefits:We offer a range of benefits including flexible working and great career opportunities.
