Production Technician / Pharmacy Technician
Salary: Band 4

We are currently looking to recruit a Production Technician / Pharmacy Technician to join our Aseptic Services Unit (ASU). This is a pivotal role supporting the delivery of safe, efficient and high-quality aseptic services in line with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). You will be actively involved in day-to-day aseptic compounding, quality assurance activities, environmental monitoring, stock management, and supervision of junior staff. You will play a key part in ensuring timely and accurate production of cytotoxic and monoclonal therapies, supporting our commitment to exceptional patient care.

Assist in quality improvement projects and report out-of-specification results
Manage top-up services, tray assembly and accurate documentation
Participate in on-call, weekend and bank holiday rotas for out-of-hours production
Support training and supervision of new and junior staff


GPhC registration as a Pharmacy Technician (or equivalent accreditation)
Previous experience in an aseptic services unit or sterile compounding environment
Strong understanding of GMP and SOPs in a healthcare or manufacturing setting
Experience in supervising junior staff and supporting training is desirable
Willingness to work flexibly including weekends and bank holidays as required
