The team combines technical expertise with a commercial and pragmatic approach, offering both contentious and non-contentious advice at the highest level.Employment Solicitor — Position Overview: \tAdvise employer clients on the full spectrum of employment law issues\tHandle contentious and non-contentious matters, including Employment Tribunal claims\tSupport corporate transactions with due diligence and TUPE advice\tDraft and review employment contracts, staff handbooks, consultancy agreements, NDAs, and settlement agreements\tAdvise on reorganisations, disciplinaries, grievances, and day-to-day HR issues\tManage cases involving employment status, redundancy, and restrictive covenants\tProvide clear, commercial advice to clients and work autonomously with partner support\tContribute to business development and client relationship managementRequirements of the Employment Solicitor:\tQualified Solicitor with 3–8 years’ PQE in Employment Law\tExperience advising employers (experience with senior employees also beneficial)\tStrong academic background and high-quality training\tExperience handling both contentious and non-contentious employment work\tPractical knowledge of the Employment Tribunal process\tExcellent drafting, communication, and negotiation skills\tSelf-motivated, proactive, and commercially minded\tTeam player with strong interpersonal skills and client relationship focus\tConfident, professional, and discreet in all client dealings\tIT literate with a practical working knowledge of digital tools and case management systemsThe Benefits for the Employment Solicitor role:\tCompetitive market-rate salary\t25 days’ annual leave\t4x Life Assurance\tPermanent Health Insurance\tBUPA Medical Insurance & Medicash Cashplan Scheme\tBluecrest Health Assessment\tUnum Dental Scheme\tAuto-enrolment in the firm’s Group Personal Pension Scheme\tDiscretionary Bonus Scheme & Introduction Bonus Scheme\tInterest-free Season Ticket Loan (after 3 months)\tCycle to Work Scheme\tHoliday Purchase option\tWellbeing Programme\tGymflex membership
