Job DescriptionJob Title: Project Manager (Construction)Location: Barrow-In-Furness – On-siteSalary: Circa £60,000 depending on experienceWhat you’ll be doing:Support on high-impact MEICA projects, driving innovation and improvement across our engineering and infrastructure programmesHave responsibility for the end-to-end delivery — ensuring the project hits time, cost, and quality targetsWork closely with multi-disciplinary teams and external partners, turning technical tasks into practical, sustainable solutionsManage and coordinate with Principal Contractors site activities under Construction (Design & Management ) Regulations 2015Advocate for a safety-first culture, overseeing contractor activities in line with CDM 2015 standardsYour skills and experiences:Essential:Experienced in leading multi-faceted mechanical or electrical projects within live manufacturing, or production environmentsSolid technical foundation — HVAC or LEV experience is a real advantageInfluential communicator and natural leader , able to influence at all levelsQualified to HNC or above in Engineering/Construction, with solid project management experienceHold a Project Management certification (APMQ, PRINCE2 or equivalent)BenefitsAs well as a competitive pension scheme, BAE Systems also offers employee share plans, an extensive range of flexible discounted health, wellbeing and lifestyle benefits, including a green car scheme, private health plans and shopping discounts – you may also be eligible for an annual incentive.The Site Facilities Major Projects TeamWorking for the Site and facilities directorate this is an exciting opportunity to join the LEV Programme at Barrow-in-Furness. The programme involves upgrading LEV systems to modern standards, improving the work environment for current and future teams.
