Job DescriptionFemale Support WorkerPay rate: £14.50 per hourShift Pattern:8.00 am- 4.00pm (Monday to Sunday on rota basis)Hours:16 hours per weekRequirements:Full UK driving licence due to nature of the roleWe are looking for a confident Female Support Worker to provide dedicated one- to one support to a gentleman living with Brain Injury.You will be supporting him to maintain his independence at home and in the community.You will be working within a busy family household therefore it's important that you can communicate effectively.He enjoys going to the cinema, gardening, spending time outdoors and taking his dog for walks.Enriching activities will be an important factor in your support, and you will bring a wonderfully empathetic approach to truly make a difference to this persons life. You will also need to bring previous experience with you in the following:Brain InjuryMedication administrationCompanionshipWhat will your shift involve?In this role, you will be providing high-quality care on a 1:1 basis, ensuring that the individual you support receives compassionate and attentive care tailored to their specific needs.Your responsibilities will include engaging with them in meaningful activities and taking them out in the community to promote their social interaction and well-being.Additionally, you will support with household tasks to maintain a clean and organized living environment that fosters comfort and independence.Clear and confident communication in their preferred manner will be essential to building a strong and trusting relationship.More about Acuity Care GroupWe have been around for nearly 20 years so know our stuff We have over 900 people working for us across Operations and supporting roles.
