Our commitment is to deliver expert advice and support, ensuring our clients can make informed decisions and achieve their goals.Job DescriptionRole overviewAs an Assistant Manager within our Restructuring Advisory team, you will take a lead role in supporting distressed businesses through contingency planning, financial analysis, and strategic advisory. You will manage a portfolio of insolvency cases, including administrations, liquidations, and bankruptcies, ensuring statutory compliance and stakeholder engagement throughout. This role offers the opportunity to develop leadership capabilities and contribute to both commercial restructuring and formal insolvency processes.Key ResponsibilitiesLead financial analysis and cash flow modelling to support strategic options reviewsDraft and review high-quality reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholdersSupervise case progression and ensure compliance with insolvency legislationLiaise with clients, creditors, employees, legal advisors, and asset fundersAttend and lead client meetings and site visitsOversee asset realisation strategies and recovery actionsIdentify and escalate legal issues where appropriateMaintain accurate case documentation and ensure timely statutory filingsSupport junior team members and contribute to their developmentUtilise Microsoft Office and FRP in-house systems effectivelyQualificationsQualificationsProven experience in restructuring advisory or insolvency case managementStrong understanding of insolvency legislation and case lifecycleDegree-level education preferred; relevant professional qualifications (e.g. CPI, JIEB) advantageousExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsStrong organisational and time management abilitiesProficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; IPS experience desirableCollaborative team player with a proactive and adaptable approachAdditional InformationOur ValuesStraightforward: We provide clear, no-nonsense advice.Confident: Our guidance is backed by expertise and evidence.Pragmatic: We focus on practical solutions and tangible outcomes.Real: We are professional yet approachable, understanding the challenges our clients face.Our Commitment to You and the EnvironmentAt FRP, sustainability is integral to our strategy and operations.
