About the role:Job Title: Head of Department for ScienceResponsible to: Head TeacherGrade: Qualified (MPS / UPS)Location: Endeavour Academy BexleyJob Summary:To lead the Science Department and coordinate all schemes of work, assessments and accreditation delivered in relation to the subject areaTo take responsibility as a middle leader for the quality of teaching and learning within Endeavour Academy and coach staff within the department to deliver lessons which support all pupils to make good or better progressTo analyse data in relation to learning and behavior and use this to inform planning and targeting of interventions to close the gap for vulnerable learners.
