IngreSearch is partnering with a UKIRE speciality Distributor specialising in the Food and Beverage Ingredients sector.We are seeking a dynamic Business Manager to spearhead the development and growth of a new business unit within our clients Chemical Distribution operations. This role will focus on UK & Ireland markets, driving strategic business development initiatives, building strong customer relationships, and positioning the new unit as a market leader.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and evaluate growth opportunities within UK & Ireland for the new business unit.Conduct market analysis to define target sectors, customer needs, and competitive positioning.Develop and execute a robust go-to-market strategy for the new unit.Drive new customer acquisition and manage key accounts to ensure long-term partnerships.Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements aligned with company objectives.Act as the primary point of contact for the new business unit, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.Collaborate with internal teams (supply chain, technical, marketing) to deliver tailored solutions.Monitor performance metrics and report progress to senior leadership.Pioneer new product lines and services within the chemical distribution space.Stay ahead of industry trends and regulatory requirements to maintain compliance and competitiveness.Requirements Proven track record with 5+ years business development experience within Food/Chemical distribution or related industries.Strong understanding of UK & Ireland markets, including regulatory frameworks and customer landscape.Experience in launching new business units or product lines is highly desirable.Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.Please submit your CV if you have the requisite skills as outlined above and are a highly competitive individual with excellent communication skills.
