Job DescriptionTechnical Services ManagerHolroyd Machine Tools is part of the Precision Technologies Group and is a world leader in the design and manufacture of high-precision CNC milling and grinding machines. Our technologies serve industries including aerospace, automotive, power generation, and more, delivering exceptional accuracy and reliability for complex helical components.This position would suit someone with experience in mechanical fitting or maintenance of CNC milling and grinding machines who is looking for a more customer-facing role. Full training on internal systems, quotation procedures, and communication techniques will be provided.The RoleAs the main point of contact for our customers, you will provide technical guidance and prepare accurate quotations for spare parts, service work, and machine upgrades. This is a desk-based role focused on managing enquiries and supporting international customers with technical solutions.Key Responsibilities:Respond to technical enquiries and provide support on troubleshooting machine faults, applying a solid understanding of Holroyd machines and their applications.Prepare accurate and competitive quotations for spares, services, and upgrades.Lead and support a team of field service engineers, offering technical guidance when needed.Manage the service schedule and coordinate with customers and internal team for travel arrangements.Work closely with engineering, software and production teams on complex technical issues.Maintain strong customer relationships by responding promptly to enquiries and providing effective technical support. Person Specification:Apprentice trained and time-served in a mechanical discipline.Experienced in the build and application of CNC Milling & Grinding machines.Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to discuss technical matters confidently.Understanding of MRP systems (advantageous).Previous enquiry or sales support experience.Salary & Benefits:Favourable weekly pattern of 4 days (37 hrs) MonThurs 07:4516:30, Fri 07:4511:45Highly competitive salary6% matched pensionLife assuranceCash Health Plan33 holidays per year increasing to 38You may also have experience in the following roles: Service Manager, Technical Support Manager, Customer Service Manager, After Sales Manager, Field Service Manager, Applications Engineer, Technical Sales Support, Service Engineering Manager, Machine Tool Specialist, CNC Service Manager, Technical Account Manager, etc.REF-225 502JBRP1_UKTJ
