Job DescriptionAn exciting opportunity has arisen for you to join a market-leading groundworks contractor as SHE Advisor, covering their projects across the Cambridgeshire and Eastern Counties region. They are looking to add to an existing dynamic team who work closely with site management to manage risks across their project portfolio.Reporting into Senior Management you will be:•\tProviding support and assistance to senior management and workforce on SHE issues•\tAttend pre-commencement meetings as requested to proactively contribute to the initial decisions made by the contract team.•\tEnsure buy-in and compliance with company policy, procedures and legislation•\tPromoting a positive H&S Culture within the company•\tAssisting the Regional SHE Manager to prepare health and safety strategies and develop internal policy.•\tProduce RAMS and SSOW for site•\tPerforming site visits and audits including reporting and follow up actionsYou will well-versed in coaching and mentoring personnel, controlling their safety output on-site and ensuring compliance across a diverse and challenging risk portfolio. You will be:•\tAn excellent communicator, comfortable building relationships from site to board level•\tNEBOSH-qualified •\tExperienced in civil engineering hazards, particularly groundworks (ESSENTIAL)•\tA solutions-led H&S professional, capable of identifying and managing riskThis is an excellent chance to join a growing company in an increasingly busy sector with great development opportunities. You will earn an extremely competitive salary of between £45-50,000 plus car, bonus and full package and will be promoting the highest standards of Health & Safety performance and behaviour within the company and utilising your personal attributes to develop and maintain standards
