By combining commercial awareness with design curiosity, they consistently challenge conventional approaches to deliver meaningful, well-crafted architecture.The OpportunityThey are seeking a motivated and design-focused Part II Architectural Assistant to join the London studio. The role offers the chance to work closely with a senior practice leader on both live commissions and early-stage concept design. It is a strong development opportunity for someone at the beginning of their professional journey who is eager to learn, contribute and progress quickly.Key ResponsibilitiesContribute to drawings, models, presentation material and design documentationSupport the preparation of technical information, schedules and specificationsAssist with administrative tasks linked to project deliveryHelp prepare material for planning submissions and regulatory approvalsProduce clear and accurate documentation for tender and contract stagesMaintain positive relationships with clients, consultants and project partnersAttend internal and external meetings where requiredEngage in CPD and contribute to organising learning sessions within the practiceTake initiative in developing leadership skills within project teamsSupport general studio duties such as maintaining a tidy workspace and managing shared tasksProvide guidance to more junior team members where appropriateDeliver work professionally, meeting agreed deadlines and quality standardsStay informed about regulatory updates, best practice in construction, and emerging design trends(Responsibilities may be updated occasionally to reflect project and practice needs.)Skills & ExperienceRIBA Part I and II completed; actively working towards Part IIIDegree and/or Masters in architecture or an equivalent disciplineAwareness of current legislation related to construction, planning and health & safetyPrevious experience in a similar architectural roleStrong design sensibility and an eye for detailConfident verbal and written communication, with the ability to present ideas clearlyGood organisational skills, managing time and tasks efficientlyStrong hand-drawing or digital drawing capabilities, including 3D workComfortable working on Mac systemsExperience with design and visualisation tools such as SketchUp, Adobe Suite, Photoshop, Vectorworks, Revit or BIM platforms
