Job DescriptionMechanical Project ManagerLocation: NewcastleStart Date: ASAP or JanuaryRate: NegotiableCompany: Leading Building Services ContractorProjects: £35m+ Commercial Refurbishment & Re-installationOverviewA well-established building services contractor is looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to take ownership of large-scale commercial refurbishment and re-installation projects valued at £35m+. You’ll be responsible for driving project delivery, managing the mechanical package end-to-end, and ensuring all works are completed on time, within budget, and to a high technical standard.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the full mechanical scope across major commercial refurbishment projectsManage project programs, cost control, progress reporting, and risk managementLiaise closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teamsLead site teams to ensure safe, efficient, high-quality deliveryReview technical drawings, specifications, RAMS, and installation qualityEnsure compliance with all building services standards and regulationsManage procurement, variations, and project handover documentationResolve technical issues and keep delivery on track against key milestonesRequirementsStrong background in mechanical building services project managementProven experience delivering commercial refurb or large mechanical packagesAbility to manage £multi-million projects with complex stakeholder groupsExcellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skillsSMSTS, CSCS, and relevant mechanical qualifications preferredAbility to start immediately or in January
