Job DescriptionSeeking a highly skilled Mechanical & Electrical Project Lead to oversee the delivery of a major £40M Government project in Newcastle upon Tyne. Working with a large M&E contractor, this role offers the chance to take a pivotal position, leading from the front and working closely with the clientAs the M&E Project Lead, you will act as the central point of contact between the client, design and on site delivery. You will be responsible for ensuring the project runs smoothly across all stages from design, budgets, and general program delivery, through to completion. You will attend all meetings and relay all information to Project Management and on site delivery teamsKey Responsibilities ;Lead and attend client meetings, acting as the primary M&E point of contact.Review, monitor, and manage budgets across each project stageOversee design changes, ensuring these are communicated effectively to Engineers and Project ManagementCoordinate both Mechanical and Electrical, ensuring the program is adhered to and all H&S risks are managedWork closely with internal teams, subcontractors to drive a successful project delivery.Ensure compliance is up to date, with all relevant health and safety documentation in place and all regulations are adhered toIdeal individual for this role ...Can be either Mechanical or Electrically biased, with a strong knowledge of the other discipline.Proven experience managing large scale M&E projectsStrong commercial awareness with the ability to manage budgets effectivelyExcellent communication skills, able to confidently lead meetings and liaise with clients, engineers, and project teamsStrong organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage complex programmesThe opportunity offers ;Competitive salary and package (dependent on experience)Opportunity to lead a high profile £40M projectLong term career prospects within a market leading contractorProfessional and supportive team environment
