We are working with a Top 100 UK law firm to recruit a Compliance Manager to join their growing team.In this role, you'll act as an escalation point for complex and high-risk compliance issues, supporting the Senior Risk and Best Practice Lawyer and Director of Risk in promoting a strong, positive culture of compliance across the firm. You'll manage a broad portfolio of projects, provide expert advice to partners and staff, and play a key part in embedding best practice across all divisions.The firm is looking for candidates with extensive experience in risk and compliance within a law firm, and advanced knowledge of the laws, regulations, and professional standards that govern legal practice.Your responsibilities will include:Advising on complex risk, regulatory, ethical, and data protection mattersLeading risk and compliance projects and identifying opportunities to improve processesProducing and analysing risk data to enhance firmwide performanceSupporting updates to key firm documents, policies, and engagement materialsCreating and delivering tailored compliance training across divisionsMonitoring regulatory developments and advising on their impactCoaching junior team members and contributing to a culture of collaboration and learningThe ideal candidates will have strong communication and report-writing skills, excellent attention to detail, and a proactive, analytical mindset.
