This role sits within a high-performing digital team and will take on day-to-day responsibility for people leadership, digital delivery and managing a substantial multi-million-pound budget.This is an opportunity for someone confident managing upwards, presenting to senior stakeholders and leading a team through an ongoing digital transformation work.The RoleYou will take ownership of key areas of the digital and broader marketing function, including:Team LeadershipManage and mentor a growing team (currently 3, soon to be 4).Provide day-to-day direction, coaching and workload management.Support ongoing development and ensure smooth collaboration across the wider digital function.Digital Marketing ManagementDeliver the digital marketing plan across paid, owned and earned channels.Manage digital performance dashboards, reporting on results, ROI and trends.Work cross-functionally with internal teams and external agencies.Take responsibility for customer review platforms and support performance insights.Budget ManagementManage a seven-figure budget.Lead forecasting, tracking and ROI assessment across campaigns.Work with agency partners and internal teams on spend allocation and optimisation.Channels & DeliveryManage paid activity across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads (strategic direction; hands-on handled by agency and internal exec).Oversee organic and paid content delivery across relevant channels.Support testing, experimentation and ongoing digital improvements.Contribute to creative strategy in collaboration with wider teams.Stakeholder EngagementWork closely with senior leadership, directors and C-suite.Confidently represent the digital function, share performance updates and manage expectations.Provide clarity on digital strategy and execution.Who This Would SuitA marketing professional with strong digital knowledge who can:Manage and mentor a team.Take ownership of a large marketing budget at seven-figure level.Run with an existing strategy and deliver it effectively.Work across paid, owned and earned media.Operate confidently with senior stakeholders and manage upwards.Balance strategic oversight with willingness to support day-to-day work.The client is not looking for someone highly technical or hands-off strategic.They need someone operational, steady, people-focused, commercially confident and experienced with high-value budgets.Paid media specialists will be considered if they have broader digital and organic exposure.Contract & Benefits2-year FTC, with potential to extend or move into a permanent role.Hybrid: 3 days per week on site in Belper.25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays.Bonus linked to company performance.Strong pension scheme.Option for subsidised private healthcare.On-site bistro, coffee bar and free parking.Family-friendly policies and wellbeing support.
