You'll play a key role in developing automated solutions, building robust web services, and ensuring consistent, secure deployment across complex architectures.This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys solving problems, streamlining processes, and working collaboratively within high-performing technical teams.Essential Skills & ExperienceTo be considered, candidates must have at least 12 months of hands-on experience within the last 3 years in:Creating PHP and JavaScript web servicesConsuming REST-based web servicesConsuming SOAP-based web servicesAutomated deployment of server, network, and storage technologies across multiple vendorsBuilding or supporting large infrastructure environmentsTroubleshooting hardware and software component failuresWorking effectively within an Agile development teamAdditional essential requirements:Strong written and verbal communication skillsHigh-level analytical and critical thinking capabilityValid Security Clearance (SC)Competency with the Microsoft Office SuiteDesirable Skills & QualificationsThe following experience is beneficial:Previous work within the UK public sector, ideally Defence or Defence Digital (formerly ISS)Experience delivering accredited secure solutions within UK Government environmentsIf you'd like to discuss the Automation Engineer role in more detail, please send your updated CV to and I will get in touch.JBRP1_UKTJ
